Description:
The Colt Cobra (First Issue) was made from 1950 to 1972. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 2, 3, or 4 inch barrel, very early guns had plastic grips with silver medallions, changed to plastic w/o medallions, and finally changed to wood grips, were blue or nickel finished, and chambered in .either 22 LR, .32 Colt N.P., .38 Colt N.P., or .38 Special. This gun is as described, is fitted with a 3 inch barrel, checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. It is a 1968 vintage Cobra in unfired/new condition, with the only evidence of wear it's having a very minor drag line on the cylinder due to opening and closing of the cylinder. The grips fit well and look like new. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly, with a very tight lock-up. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box and a sales receipt dated 5-28-1968. Box is in fine condition showing little wear, but 2 of the corners of the lid are ripped.
