Description:
This is a very very nice vintage leather holster similar to those offered by BIFFAR CHICAGO. Fred Biffar is recognized for his Chicgo-based business "Fred Biffar was a retailer in sporting goods. It is in remarkably good condition and likely has been sitting in a drawer for many years. Nice for the collector to show off his long barreled vintage Colt six gun. This is a old western double loop style holster. Marked with the model number "548" and beneath that the mark for the barrel length "7 1/2". It is a perfect fit for my 7 1/2 in. barrel Colt SAA but would service equally as well for a Colt Bisley 7 1/2, a 1878 D.A. 7 1/2, Colt New Service 7 1/2 or a S&W D.A. or S.A. Frontier 6 1/2. . Top notch "7 1/2" holster are rarely found in this fine condition. There are no breaks or tears and the stitching is all tight. It is ready to give a century of use. My shooter is not included.
