Description:
Offering three different boxes of UNOPENED vintage, collectable primers. 1) Remington No. 9 1/2; 2) Remington No. 2 1/2 and 3) Peters No. 20X "RUSTLESS." All of these primers were manufactured when Black, Semi-smokeless, and Smokeless powders were still commonly used in rifle, pistol and shotshell cartridges. Notably the Remington No. 9 "replaces No. 7 1/2 and 8 1/2" and was adapted to smokeless powder center fire rifle cartridges. The No. 2 1/2 "same size as No. 2" was adapted to smokeless powder cartridges. The Peters No. 20X "Rustless" primers were "adapted to Smokeless, Semi-Smokeless, and Black Powder cartridges, using .210 Diameter Primer." These primers are sold as a set because of the Remington, Peters, Dupont affiliation. The photographs show their condition better than I can\ describe them.
