Description:
Serial #83955, .22 LR, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1966-made revolver that retains about 97-98% original factory blue with mild silvering at the muzzle, on some of the high edges, and a turn-ring on the cylinder. The right side of the revolver has extensive West German proofmarks, and a fairly rare German retailer marking stamped on the interior of the grip frame on the left side: “BRIGANT". The checkered walnut factory grips rate about very good as refinished with minor handling marks and some flattening of the points. Additionally, the right panel has been relieved along the frontstrap and butt, and white compound bedding added which has left a 3/32" wide white stripe visible along the panel seam. The revolver features a Patridge front sight and original Accro rear sight. The timing and lock-up are excellent, and the revolver rates very good-near fine overall. FFL or C&
