Description:
Serial #495643, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This 1923-made revolver retains about 80-85% of a very nice re-applied blue that closely matches the color of the original finish. There is some moderate silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, turn-ring on the cylinder, and some freckling along the gripstraps. The rear windage adjustable sight is original, and a period replacement front target sight blade has been fitted. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips rate about very good plus with overall minor handling marks, and some flattening of the points. This is a very nice pre-war Colt that has been reconditioned to fine overall. FFL or C&R
