Description:
Serial #406923, 12 Ga., 30" barrels with fine, bright bores having only some faint traces of freckling along their length. This is a very nice gun that has 85-90% of the original blue finish remaining on the fluid steel barrels that have a few small spots of light brown freckling at the muzzles. The frame has a good amount of original color case-hardening remaining on both sides with spots of freckling on the hammers and edges of the frame. The walnut forend and buttstock have a dark brown varnish added over numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes. The gun has a 14" length of pull with drops of 1 3/4" and 2 5/8" respectively. The lock-up is still fairly tight although there is a small amount of lateral play in the barrels. This is a handsome big bore shotgun and would make a great display piece for a study or gunroom.
