Description:
Serial #3343, .38 S&W, 5 1/2" barrel with a good bore that has mild freckling and pitting along its length. This is a nice little folding hammer revolver with beaked butt that has about 85-90% of the original nickel finish remaining with small specks of dark plum-brown freckling at the muzzle, on the projecting edges where the nickel has lightly worn, and along the gripstraps. All numbers are matching. The hammer and trigger have an overall mottled gray-brown patina with some traces of muted original color case-hardening remaining, and the original hard rubber grips are in fine plus condition with only minor surface wear on either side. The lock-up is still rather tight, the mechanism is fully functional, and the revolver rates very good plus condition overall. Antique
