Description:
Serial #2100, .22 LR, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This pistol was made in 1931 and has matching numbers on the frame and slide with the metal retaining 92% plus of the original bright commercial blue finish that has silvered slightly at the muzzle as well as along the grip strap and mainspring housing. There is some very mild freckling present on the muzzle and some faint disassembly marks at the slide lever on the left side. The checkered walnut grips are in fine condition with some minor flattening of the points as well as some further wear at the top of the right panel. A single later 22 magazine is included with the gun. This is a simply splendid, early production Colt Ace that has lots of original finish remaining and would make an excellent addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
