This "1st Model" Ruger 10/22 International is one of the early production Internationals that Ruger manufactured for only 3 years, from 1966 to 1969. This example is serial number 200792, putting it's year of manufacture at 1969, the last year of the early rifles. It has an American Walnut full length Mannlicher style stock, and it is in excellent condition overall. The original Ruger factory blue finish is 98% plus, with no signs of wear or corrosion. The 18 1/2 inch barrel has a perfect bore with strong rifling with sharp lands and grooves. The beautiful Walnut Mannlicher stock has a slight abrasion on the left side near the receiver, and a small factory repair of an imperfection in the wood right behind the top of the receiver, neither of which subtracts from the overall attractiveness of this unique factory Ruger model (see pictures). This beautiful 10/22 International is one of the scarcest and most collected 10/22 models ever produced by Ruger. All of the later factory production of this International model had Birch stocks instead of Walnut, and the overall quality of the workmanship and materials was not as good. This is certainly one of the iconic American made .22 rifles that you rarely see for sale in any condition. REDUCED PRICE!
