REDUCED - This is a very good to excellent Springfield .50-70 Cadet Rifle with 29.5 inch barrel with an excellent bore and chamber. Wood is excellent with original finish. All metal very good to excellent condition. Rifle has sling swivels (no stacking swivel), breechbolt marked 1866 over Springfield Eagle, and no serial number that we can find. Lockplate is marked US Springfield with an Eagle and dated 1864. One nice Cadet rifle and I'll bet it would be an excellent original shooter. No ffl or c&r required to purchase.
