Semi-automatic pistol, .45 ACP Cal. 5" barrel. National Match. Parkerized.
Between 1942 and 1945, Ithaca Gun Company made 382,000 of the .45 caliber Model 1911A1 pistols for the U.S. military. This pistol was produced in 1944 by Ithaca. Configured into National Match.
The pistol's serial number is 18188044. Slight holster wear near muzzle. Pachmayr Signature Grips. Initials FK and RIA stamp on right side above trigger. The riflings are sharp with no defects. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Great grouping on targets.
Cartouche stamp on right behind top of grip. Flaming bomb on right side.
FJA Proofed on left side above magazine release.
