Description:

Factory Engraved Winchester 1866 Rifle. Made in 1870. .44 Rimfire. This is an untouched factory engraved 1866 done by one of the Ulrich family members, who were factory engravers for Winchester. This gun has classic scroll work with geometric patterns. There are several animal heads in the engraving. The wood is a grade fancier than you typically see. The barrel has nice even brown patina. The rear sight was remounted through the barrel address. Very fine factory engraved gun!
