Chapman Confederate Musketoon one of the rarest Confederate manufactured firearms in existence This Chapman has been in the same Family for many generations and not been brought to market before S/N 14. very good as issued and used condition 24 inch barrel Lock work and trigger function correctly The number 14 appears on: Stirrup & screws, breach block and screw, barrel, hammer, lock plate, butt plate, trigger guard and barrel bands s/n’s believed worn away Hammer screw appears to be a replacement Original rear sight, original stock, original butt plate, original hammer, ram rod believed to be original, original barrel bands, original lock work and trigger, very complete. Wood is in very good condition there is a light crack at top of wood behind the plug tang. Hand initialed JF left side of the stock Thought to be only the 3rd C. Chapman Musketoon in existence A true piece of American and Confederate piece of History P.O.R
