Description:
Colt SAA .44 Special, 4 3/4". Came from an estate, returned to Colt for engraving circa 1960 when AA White was Colt's factory engraver. AA White gold stamp on grip strap, this stamp was used on AA White's engraved guns when he was Colt's factory engraver according to the Colt Engraving book. Full D engraving coverage, even the screws and top of the hammer are engraved, beautiful gold inlay work, AA Whites specialty. Perfect bore, perfect cylinder chambers, perfect action. From the looks of the bore, chambers, and inside of the frame it appears the gun has never been shot. The gun is 100%, and engraved by AA White, a Colt factory engraver and one of the premier engravers of the 20th century. I will pay insured shipping. FFL required.
