Description:
This is a custom rifle in .250 Savage based around a Sako action. This rifle was made by John Vest who was an instructer at the Lassen Community College School of Gunsmithing in Susanville, California. The barrel is 26 inches long with a thin profile. The stock is high grade checkered walnut with an Ebony fore end cap, a cheek piece, a steel grip cap. and a Niedner bott plate. Workmanship is superb throughout. Condition is Excellent overall, and the bore is bright and shiny. This rifle is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5 scope in 2 piece Leupold style mounts that is included in the price. The scope and mounts will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
