Description:
Rogers & Spencer Percussion Revolver in .44 Black Powder. Considered the best percussion revolver ever built. One of 5000 built for a Civil War military contract but none were ever issued since they were finished after the war was over. This one has all correct military markings and the cartouche on the grip. This is the only one we've ever seen with a triple digit serial number. Still shows some good bluing and is in great shape for the age.
