Winchester Model 42
For all you shuck-a-matic lovers out there, here is one surely to delight you. Offering this Model 42 pump serial # 16894, circa mid-year 1935. Barrel was originally full choke but as you can see has been fitted with the Cutts compensator. The 25-inch barrel has a donut vent rib installed by Simmons. This is an early example of the Simmons work as evidenced by the scrolled font on the side of the rib. The shotguns chamber and bore are in excellent condition not a blemish to be found. Action is smooth and positive. The butt stock has a few handling marks, retains the original 13 5/8 LOP. No cracks and only one small chip at the toe. Shotgun retains the factory Winchester hard black but plate. Receiver and barrel serial numbers match. 93-95% original blue remains. Nice gun to air out on the weekend at your local Skeet club.
