Description:
Serial #FW10168.  This 12 gauge L.C. Smith Specialty grade shotgun, manufactured in 1927 is in fine condition with 30” barrels choked full (.036) and light modified (.016) with full length filed rib and ivory bead front sight. The bores are pristine. The gun retains 90% to 95% of its original blue and muted case colors.  The finely engraved receiver is crisp, sharp and beautiful.  The barrels are marked L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE and HUNTER ARMS CO. M’F’R’S FULTON, N.Y.  The stock and splinter forearm are of nicely figured walnut with the forearm carrying an ebony inlay at its tip a black dog head medallion.  The fine checkering is fine and crisp.  The length of pull is 14 ½”, the drop at comb is 1 5/8” and the drop at heel is  2 ¾”.  This is a very attractive L.C.
