How many three barrel handguns have you ever seen? This is certainly one of the most unique handgun designs. Each time the single action hammer is cocked it fires a different barrel, and there is an indicator on the right side of the frame which shows the barrel to be fired. The mechanics of the pistol work fine, and I feel certain it would fire today. There are strong traces of the original blue on the barrels, the brass frame has a nice patina, and the rosewood grips are oriignal but have a small chip missing at the top of the right grip. All of the parts are matching (serial number 2767) frame, barrel, grips. This is an early sample of American firearms ingenuity.
