(some very large firearms (example Barrett .50 BMGs) may cost extra to ship) All firearms must be either shipped to a dealer in your state or picked up at our retail store in Saint Marys, PA. The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Every HOWA rifle from the firing pin to the barrels are perfectly designed, quality machined, fitted with exacting tolerances and all with superior hammer forged pre-hardened steel. They are all equipped with outstanding technical features and innovation.
STOCK: Built one at a time right here in the United States from the highest quality raw material. We start by CNC machining the aluminum bedding block. Every Howa 1500 rifle stock we produce has an aluminum bedding block that is machined specifically to the dimensions of the barreled action it will be used with. The aluminum bedding block is then placed into a mold. Both sides of the mold are hand laminated with Kevlar, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. This stock also features new proprietary patent pending barrel channel centering set screws. It’s a true drop in stock that will allow you to center the barrel channel regardless of the tolerances of the action.
BARRELED ACTIONS: Receiver and bolt are forged steel with integral bolt handle, bolt faces are square to barrel chamber and bolt faces have excellent contact with recess. Hands down the best extractor style and design available. 100% Reliable M-16 style extractor. Our factory barrels are hammer forged and are chambered symmetrically at center of axis with head space set to stringent and exacting specs resulting in maximum accuracy and consistent bores.
2-STAGE TRIGGER: Being creep free, crisper with lighter trigger pull and having a consistency let-off, the new HOWA HACT 2-stage match triggers provide the shooter with the instant ability to achieve best accuracy right out of the box.
SAFETY: All HOWA’s have a 3 position safety which allows for barrels to be locked down and also allows for actions to be UNLOADED while SAFE. Key for youth guns, climbing tree stands or moving through brush.
