Description:
Produced in 1972 this .357 Magnum Python shows no evidence of ever being fired outside of the test firing at the Colt factory. The original nickel finish is near perfect with only a slight drag line on the cylinder where the action has been worked and a tiny nick forward of the trigger guard on the right side of the frame (pictured). It has a pair of aftermarket finger groove laminated wod grips with gold Colt medallions. The barrel has a minty bright bore with sharp rifling and the cylinder bores are minty and bright as well. The action on this Python is superb in both single and double action modes of operation. The trigger is excellent with a clean break without any grittiness or creep. Everything works on this Python 100% like the day it left the factory. Nickel finish Pythons are by far scarcer than blue or stainless guns and this 46 year old Colt is near perfect. It would be very hard to upgrade from this one!
