Confirmed by the included Colt Factory letter, this prototype Python revolver was kept by the Colt Factory as the sample of Electroless Nickel finish. Collector/Museum marks only – doesn’t appear to have been fired. Some dried grease/oil. Please view the photos here to evaluate the condition for yourself. Complete with the maroon Colt “Heritage of Craftsmanship” box with Custom Shop end label numbered to the gun, furnished without stocks. Provenance: Colt Factory Archive Collection.
