Description:
(SOLD) This is an excellent example of an old Marlin Safety Rifle in 30-30 cal. It was manufactured in 1898 so NO FFL NEEDED. The rifle retains much of it's original finish mostly along the barrel and except for the chip in the toe, the stock and forearm are in great shape. Normal wear for an old rifle. The bore is in very good condition and this rifle is very accurate. The squares on that target are 1" squares. Mechanically perfect with a 26" octagon barrel and full length magazine. I load up 150rg gas checked lead bullets pushed by 18.5gr RL-7. This has a tested 21300 cup at 1603 fps. (That's 12000 cup less then factory 30-30 ammo) I, personally, didn't want to over stress this old rifle. You can shoot whatever you want out of it. I'm going to send 40 rounds with the rifle. 20, 150gr Hollow point as pictured and 20, 150 gr RNFP (not pictured) loaded with the same load. The pic's tell the story. This is one great shooting old 30-30. You won't be sorry you bought it. I accept Cash, Check, MO, Credit Card and PayPal. 4% CC and PP fee. It's up to you to know your local laws. $45.00 shipping includes insurance and signature delivery. Postage both ways paid by buyer if returned. (SOLD) But check out my Winchester.
