Winchester model 12 field grade 16 gauge built in 1942.This gun has a 28" Winchester proof steel barrel choked full.The gun is in excellent all original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and 98% of the original wood finish.The bore is mint and free of any rust,dents,or pits.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The gun has the early style "corncob" forend.This must have been one of the last to come off of the line before Winchester switched to wartime production.A nice addition to a collection or a classic dove or pheasant gun.C&R eligible.
