Description:
Delightful custom 22" sporter made to a very high standard of finish by master craftsmen on a stock 722 barreled action, the muzzle bearing a fresh 11 degree recessed crown, with a late 1:10" twist sightless Rem proofed barrel. Action, bottom metal, bolt and barrel highly polished, tastefully engraved with nicely-shaded American scroll. Stock is full custom English walnut, 13 1/4" LOP thru PM Decel pad, fully glass bedded, ebony grip cap and Win 1885-style forend tip, hand-rubbed oil finish, the wrist expertly checkered by Al Biesen or possibly someone who faithfully copied his style. Wearing a Leupold Vari X IIc 3-9x duplex scope in Leupold rings. Appears to have seen little use since it was customized. 8lbs with scope, a Sunday rifle for sure.
