Description:
Winchester Model 21 Field 12 Gauge Side-by-Side
KNOCK-OUT WOOD, TIGHT, 28” M/F, 99% CONDITION

General Specs: Winchester, Year 1935, 12 Gauge, 7lbs 8oz, SxS
Serial Number: 8354

When John Olin wanted to have title to the strongest side by side shotgun in the world, he went to work and got it done.  The Model 21 is an American icon with a well-deserved reputation.  A strikingly handsome gun with the finest steels, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure.  IF YOU LIKE HEAVY LOADS FOR PHEASANTS OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS THE GUN.  Most double gun enthusiasts are keenly aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of mechanical genius that was under the micro management of John Olin himself.  With only 30,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm.  This gorgeous M21, sn8354 made in 1935, is a great example.  The wood is figured far beyond most Field Grade guns, and the gun was well cared for with the barrels retaining 99% blue and the receiver retaining 99% blue.  The 28” barrels still have the factory M/F chokes with excellent bores.  The mechanics are perfect and the wood was recently restored in our shop, so the gun looks like new inside and out.  What a great field or clays gun at a price that most people can afford.  Thanks for looking!
