Description:
L.C. Smith 10 gauge double hammer shotgun, marked"Wells Fargo Co, 52" on rib in front of barrell address. Terrific original condition overall. Strong case colors on frame and side plates. Fingerprint damascus pattern sharp on entire length of 30 inch heavy barrells. Barrells almost 1/4" thick at chambers.Bright bores with scattered darks spots. No dents or rust. Wood is solid and original. Functions perfectly. Must have been a "Market Hunter's" shotgun originally with these heavy barrells. Might be an 8 gauge frame, with 10 gauge barrells for extra weight, low recoil.
