Description:
C&R KOLB "BABY HAMMERLESS" .22 REVOLVER       -- SOLD --

-- SOLD -- This is a very nice C&R Kolb "Baby Hammerless" .22 Revolver Model 1910.  It has Mother of Pearl grips and was made circa the 1920's in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Henry Kolb, an immigrant from Germany, was given the 1910 patents for this small gun from the Columbian Firearms Manufacturing Company, but is is most likely that this gun had been manufactured by Reginald F. Sidgley, an English immigrant who arrived in Philadelphia in 1894.  He was a machinist, gunsmith and gun maker and bought out Kolb in 1916.

This "Baby Hammerless" has Mother of Pearl grips and a nickel finish.  The hammer is enclosed and the trigger folds up.  As this is a very small, light weight gun, it makes it very easy to slip into a pocket.

The overall condition is fine.  The nickel finish is nearly 100% with the Mother of Pearl grips being solid with only a small chip at the lower end of the right side grip.

This gun comes in a wooden case with 12 original .22 cartridges.
