Heym 20G 375 H&H Left Hand Classic Sporter Safari. 375 H&H 25 1/2" barrel or 26" barrell. (RARE BARREL LENGTH). Unfired 100% condition. Rings and bases are 4 screw Recknagel I think. I ussually sell under the name "Ek Mis Afrika" on the other site. I bought the rifle from a man who won it ar SCI in 2007. He won a Right hand model so Heym replaced it with this rifle. I bought it for my LH daughter but she prefers to use a RH rifle. What makes this rifle special is the long barrell. Ive used a 375 H&H exclusively since 1998, Put more than 4500 rounds through my 22 1/2" Sako which I wish had a longer barrell. Mainly light loads. Recoil is not too bad even with full power loads. Ballistically the 375 H&H is identical to a 30-06 except you are using 300 &270 grain bullets versus 180 & 150 grain.
The barrel is marked: Heym SR 20 G 375 H & H Magnum Paul Jeager Jenkintown, PA 2835*? The action is marked: Frederick Wm Heym Made in Germany 2835* The barrel is 26".
