Description:
A Chapuis 470 NE double rifle model Brousse. Very accurate for both reloads with Woodleigh bullets and Federal factory ammunition. This rifle is a pleasure to shoot. Solids shoot slightly lower than soft points. Pretty rifle with a Kick Ease recoil pad and a little compartment in the pistol grip. Notice all the extras in the photo plus I have four front sights so you can adjust bullet impact exactly where you like it. JJ Perodeau regulated the rifle at 60 yards and replaced the bolt and top lever spring and he gave me a great load that I reload using the wads and Woodleigh bullets. Ive had so much fun with this rifle. Whenever I have a barbecue, we put on the meat, grab a beer and then all the guests get to shoot the elephant gun off the deck as the meat cooks. The gun is just wonderful to carry hunting. This rifle is almost bullet proof and is completely reliable over the many years I've owned it.. It points so nicely and is so smooth to operate. JJ Perodeau's regulating target in photo shows Federal ammunition. The soft points are in the white, the solids are in the black. The reloads, JJ gave me all impact in the white. I usually sell under the name "Ek Mis Afrika" on G***br**ker. I am selling guns to pay for a return trip to Afrika. Email me with questions. Rifle was built in 2002 or 2003 and is 90-95%. No rust, no damage. LOP from front trigger is 14 1/2".
