Description:
The Model 'C' Was the first model that was not a conversion from flintlock. It was designed as a percussion from the start. It has a screw on breach and a 39 inch 75 cal. barrel. This musket is in excellent condition on a scale from 1 to 10 it rates a 12. The bore is perfect. Bright and shiny with no rush or pitting at all. Looks new inside. The out side has usage ware expected from a 170 year old musket. Many of these muskets were bought up by the south and it is documented that several units used them in battle and throughout the war. This musket is all original except the sling. I added that. I've shot this musket and it shoots really nice. I shot a .735 ball with a .020 oiled patch pushed by 85 gr. FFG powder. At 50 yards it's right on the money. Uses standard 4 wing musket caps. $55.00 shipping includes insurance and signature delivery FedEx. I accept Cash, Check, MO, PayPal and Credit Card. PP and CC add 4%. Buyer pays postage both ways if returned.
