Description:
SOLD PENDING FUNDS...Fully restored Parker VH 12 gauge with #2 frame. 30" barrels choked IM/IM, 2 3/4" chambers, double (new) brass sighting beads, original configuration with 14 1/4" LOP to original DHBP, 1 5/8" DAC, and weighs in at a solid 7 lbs, 13 oz. Bores are not absolutely perfect but are shiny and rate at very good-plus. No dents, bulges or rust in either bore. Locks up tight with the top lever slightly right of center. Screw slots are all excellent to perfect, tight and properly aligned. Resored with bone charcoal case colors, rust blued barrels, hot blued furniture, and hand rubbed oil stock. Wood is smooth and solid but does show some old handling marks and remnants of scratches under new finish. Checkering is good. Some slight pitting remnants under new bluing by muzzle, as shown in the photos. This is the perfect Parker for hunting the brush or rainy days, or for the beginning collector who wants to experience the classic American vintage double without making a huge investment. 3 day non-shooting, non-disassembly inspection period from receipt by buyer's FFL.
