Description:
2nd year production Winchester Model 92 Rifle. This is a standard 92 Rifle with the optional 24 inch full octagon barrel. It has been well used, having lost most of its blue finish, which has turned mostly a grey/brown patina. The bore is shootable, with visible rifling, but it is a little rough. The action functions well with a tight lock-up. The forearm and stock have been sanded and refinished and the stock has a crack repair at the wrist. Finding a 92 in 44/40 is becoming hard to do.
