For sale, a beautiful Colt Lawman MkIII in .357 Magnum with the desireable 2 inch barrel. This example is serial number J75159, making it's date of manufacture 1972. This Lawman has had an easy life. It is 100% original and the factory original blue finish rates a solid 97%. There are some very tiny handling marks visible only under close inspection here and there, and some very minor high edge wear. The grip straps are excellent with no thinning of the blue finish. The case colored hammer is beautiful, with 99% of the case colors still showing. The 2-inch barrel has a mint bore, bright with strong rifling. The cylinder bores are minty as well, with no signs of erosion or corrosion. The original checkered walnut grips with silver colt medallions are also in excellent shape. They are fit nicely, and tight to the frame. They are free from cracks or repairs. Everything works 100% like the day it left the factory. The action is smooth in single or double action cycling, and it's perfectly in-time. The trigger breaks cleanly with little to no creep when firing single action. If you have been looking for a snub barreled Lawman MkIII that is good enough to be an investment, but not so perfect that you would feel guilty firing it, this would be the perfect fit!
