VERY HARD TO FIND NEW SERVICE .44-40 WITH DESIRABLE AND RARE 7 1/2" BARREL, MADE 1920, a really nice example that shows light normal use/carry but no abuse and was obviously well cared for, exc. original hard rubber grips show minimal wear and fit perfectly, fine deep Colt blue overall with normal light edge and muzzle wear, grip straps aged to plum/brown, beautiful fire blue on the hammer back and trigger sides, all sharp markings, light thinning of the blue on the rear right side of the frame, unaltered front sight, lanyard swivel intact, very tight action and bright exc. bore, these long barrel .44-40s are really to find especially in this nice condition.
