VERY FINE CONDITION 1894 .38-55 SADDLE RING CARBINE WITH MINT BRIGHT BORE, MADE 1925, one of the last of the classic 1894 saddle ring carbines, this is a particularly nice example with excellent barrel and mag. blue, exc blue on the receiver with normal edge wear and some thinning toward the outer part of the right receiver side, exc. blue on the bolt and even on the upper tang, tight action and like-new bore, correct original carbine ladder sight with slide intact, barrel bands show fine blue, exc. screws, exc. walnut stock and forend with tight wood to metal fit, all correct late barrel markings including “NICKEL STEEL,” a very desirable and scarce carbine in great condition with a super bore!
