6-Shot .22 Rimfire with Antique Ivory Grips
Here we present a tiny antique European Folding Trigger Revolver, with beautiful engraving and ivory grips, made circa the 1870s in Liege, Belgium. This tiny revolver holds 6 shots of .22 Rimfire, not unusual for a self-defense armament for an average citizen in those days. The frame, cylinder and barrel feature very nice engraving. The grip panels are original, antique ivory. Belgian proof marks are located on the frame and cylinder. This is a well-constructed, smooth operating revolver.
The overall condition is fine. The original nickel finish is 95%. The engraving and markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match on the cylinder and frame. The ivory grips are smooth and in very nice condition. The bore is fine. The action is smooth and excellent. Here is a classy little European revolver for your antique collection!
