Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, manufactured in 1980. It has a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. Blued finish is 99%. There are very small bright spots on the frame near the cylinder release latch (see photo). The drag line on the cylinder is very faint, the recoil shield shows very little cartridge case head imprinting, indicating a low number of rounds fired. Grips show no cracks, gouges, scratches, or dings. It is equipped with target trigger, hammer, and sights. Front sight has a red ramp insert. Serial number is N773XXX. In all, a very nice vintage M-29 for the collector or shooter.
