Parker Bros.12 gauge grade 2 lifter action hammer gun built in 1878.This gun is in outstanding all original condition.It retains 60% of the original case colors,80% of the damascus pattern,and 90% of the original wood finish.The barrels are 30" damascus steel choked mod and full with bright bores free of rust,dents,or pits.The minimum wall thickness is .040" so this gun is safe to shoot with reasonable loads.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The barrels are on face and lock up tightly with no play.This gun is in remarkable condition for a 140 year old gun.Classified as an antique so it can legally be shipped direct.A true piece of sporting history that you can still use.
