Here is a 5 digit "C" serial numbered model 14 1/2R carbine in 38-40 REM or 38WCF.The wood is excellent with a bright shiny bore.It has no extra holes.has the originjal wheel sight.and metal butt plate.The receiver blue is strong.the magazine is thin,the barrel is all blue with little wear.The neat thing is,it does have a threaded muzzle for what reason I do not know.It may have been used as Police gun??This gun is in excellnet working order,but you should have any 100 yeaar old gun checked by a qualified gun smith.I heard the 38-40 is much harder to find.SHI is $55 with Insurance and priority mail.I'am not a dealer,I'm selling my collection of over 100 guns.Call Pete at 518-4247039.
