The Versamax is Remington's no-nonsense, rugged, dual gas-piston operated, semi-automatic hunting and sporting shotgun. Built to be a tank, with a self-regulating gas system with the ability to cycle basically anything 12 gauge. This shotgun is designed to have the flexibility to be the "do-all shotgun".
