Description:
Custom Oberndorf Commercial Mauser Action by the late John Westrom. Standard length action with standard 30-06 bolt face. Charger hump removed. Burgess bolt handle. Pete Grisel bottom metal with straddle floorplate and trigger bow floorplate release. Timney fully adjustable trigger. This is the perfect foundation for that next custom rifle build. Mr. Westrom was inducted into the ACGG in 1985 as a metalsmith. Shortly before his death in 2003 he was given Honorary Member status for his lifetime achievements, one of only eleven at that time. He was residing in a care facility in Polk City, Iowa at that time.
