Custom-made solid oak presentation case for a Colt SAA revolver with 7 1/2 inch barrel ordered directly from The Colt Gun Shop, Hartford, CT. in 1978. This particular case is in an immaculate, pristine, brand new condition and comes with the original brass decorated key. Its construction is flawless, while the original vivid red lining depicting an actual imprint of a SAA revolver has retained its original look and coloring. The shown photographs does not do justice to the extreme beauty of this wooden case, but I will hope its appearance gives you an idea how stunning this case is. There are absolutely no scuff marks, scratches, or the slighest dust particles inside or outside it, or at the bottom of the case (see picture # 9 and # 10). The box is exactly today as it was received back in 1978. This is a very pretty and very beautiful presentation case from another era-a time capsule! For the discrimination Colt collector and aficionados; it will make for a fantastic acquisition for your revered Colt Single Action Army revolver handgun (from any generation) and will certainly enhanced its value.
