Description:
Browning BSS 12 gauge with the hard to find 30 inch barrels with single selective trigger. Made in Japan in 1980.
This is a heck of a gun for sporting clays, flyers, Helice or as a field gun. The screw in chokes make it versatile for any type of shooting.
I am not sure who did the choke work. They are flush fitting and near impossible to tell from a fixed choke gun. ABSOLUTELY ZERO SWELL OR BULGING at the muzzle. Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, Full and Xtra Full are the constrictions. Briley charges $500 to thread a SXS and 5 chokes are included. The work done on this gun is on par with all Briley choked SXS's that I have ever encountered.
The finish was stripped from the wood by a previous owner and is an oil finish now. Darker in some places than others. Slight cast off for right hand shooter. 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 14 3/4".
95% plus finish on the receiver. 85-90% finish on the barrels with a few scattered spots of finish wear. No dents or dings in the barrels. Bright shiny pit free bores.
