This is an exceptionally handcrafted case of the highest workmanship, that offers beauty, elegance in its flawless construction of a "Pyramid" style type giving the illusion that there are several "layers" on top of each other as seen in a wedding cake with a oak "knob" on top of it. Case is not "flat" as opposed to most knife presentation cases being offered today, since this is the way it was constructed by a Master craftsman , but rather appears as "layers" of wood extending at the middle, front and sides. Its uniqueness makes it for an astonishing and rare case to display your most precious and valuable large knife or Bowie. Solid brass hinge on one side with brass chain. Size is 20 1/2" X 7 5/8" X 4 ". ( 2 ) Custom-made solid oak presentation case skillfully handcrafted back in 1981 for two large Bowie type knives, but will also fits Randall Model # 12-11" "Smithsonian Bowie."
