WWI OR WW1 BRITISH CONTRACT COLT NEW SERVICE .455 ELEY D.A. MILITARY REVOLVER. Serial number "76XXX" on frame under crane. Crown over "V" proofs on barrel and just behind on frame. Traces of original blue only remaining. Hard rubber grips with some losses at butt. Original lanyard ring. Functions correctly. Lock-up on cylinder a bit loose. Bulge in barrel 1.5" behind muzzle and some pitting inside at same point. From a stash found in Turkey in the '60s with no import marks.
