EARLY CIVIL WAR COLT U.S. MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION .44 CAL. 4 SCREW ARMY REVOLVER CA. 1862. 6 shot with 8” barrel with “ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA” barrel address. All matching in the 2x,xxx serial range with exception of the wedge which is original and a period replacement. U.S. Military sub-inspectors marks on all the correct parts. Cylinder with 30-40% partial scene. Excellent grips with visible cartouche at the bottom of the left grip flat. Lanyard ring stud removed from the butt and replaced with a screw also during the period of use. Perfect working order and very good bore and chambers. Hard to find with early 4 Screw frame.
