REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK NO. 2 SPORTING RIFLE CA. 1870’S. .32 RF caliber 26” octagon barrel with “REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y.” address. Original Remington factory elevator rear and nickel blade front sights. All original and in very good condition. 40% blue mixed with patina on barrel and frame with case hardening turned dark. Stock and forend with the original finish. In good working order and good rifling with some light to moderate corrosion. Scarce model with delicate smaller frame than the No. 1. Only a few thousand made and priced reasonably.
