Browning Diana Grade 3 barrel set. 12ga. cased. LTRK with all 3 field style fore ends. This set was custom ordered
in 1965 and shipped in 66. Serial # 43291 S5. All 3 bbls. are marked on top "Made For Abercrombie and Fitch". Barrel set #1- 30" 3" magnum choked mod/full, set #2- 28" 2 3/4" choked ic/mod, set #3- 28" 2 3/4" choked skeet/ic. Engraved by Speigel. 14 1/4" lop to orig. Brng. hard butt. Buttstock is in very fancy feather crotch walnut with matching fore ends. All 3 forends are of equally fancy walnut beautifully matching butt. All with nice gloss finish. Mirror bores and action is tight. Some oil dried on the receiver varnish finish. Includes orig. Harman case and factory letters from Browning and Griffin& Howe. Also a stack of documentation on original owner who ordered this custom set including census records and life history, he was an engineer and inventor. Very nice provenance.
