Fully Engraved Colt 2nd. Gen. SAA with gold inlays. Serial #55378SA makes this a 1970 Colt. 7 1/2" barrel chambered for .45 L.C. One peice ivory grips. Almost full coverage with deeply chiselled scroll engraving accented with gold wire inlays. Master engraver signed by Hans A. Pfeiffer. It has 2 gold bands at either end of barrel, gold borders on front of cylinder as well as the flutes. Gold inlaid borders on the frame, grip straps and trigger guard. Expertly embellished with a nice deep Colt type blue. Action is tight and bore is shiny. Unfired and no drag lines. Matching numbers. A nice 2nd. gen. Colt for the serious collector . *****SOLD*****
